Booking & deposits
A 50% deposit is required at booking. It’s non-refundable and goes towards the final cost. The balance is paid on the day.
Cancellations & no-shows
Give 48 hours’ notice to reschedule or cancel. Less notice, or not turning up, means the deposit is lost. Cancelling a rescheduled appointment needs a new deposit.
Running late
15 minutes or more late may mean rescheduling and losing your deposit.
Design changes
Minor tweaks on the day are fine. Major changes on the day may mean a new booking and deposit.
Consultations
Free, by DM or in person, for customs. Big design work outside of that may cost extra.
In the studio
No drugs, alcohol or turning up intoxicated. Zero tolerance for disruptive behaviour.
Single-use needles, disposable gloves and everything sanitised. No tattooing over visible infection or irritation.
Max may photograph your tattoo for his portfolio. Just say if you’d rather it wasn’t featured.
How much is a tattoo?
For flash, Max confirms the price when you send the design you want. Custom prices depend on size, placement and complexity – you’ll get a quote once Max has seen your request.
Where are you based?
Studio Trap in West Norwood, South London, on Saturdays and Sundays. The address is sent once your booking is confirmed.
How do I prepare?
Get a good sleep and eat beforehand. No alcohol, caffeine or blood thinners for 24 hours before. Wear comfy clothes.
Hands, fingers and necks?
Yes. They need extra care while healing and may need touch-ups.
Over scars or stretch marks?
Yes in most cases – send a photo first.
Does it hurt?
It varies. Ribs, fingers and feet tend to be worse.
Aftercare
You’ll get aftercare instructions at your appointment.
Anything you won’t tattoo?
Anything offensive, discriminatory or that breaks copyright. And no under-18s, even with parental consent.
